We are currently seeking enthusiastic, adaptable, and dedicated Maths Teachers to join our pool of day‑to‑day cover staff supporting a leading FE college in the Mansfield and Ashfield area. If you're passionate about helping young people and adult learners achieve their full potential in Maths, this flexible cover role is a great way to make a real impact - while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance. What You'll Be Doing Delivering engaging Maths lessons to FE learners (16-19 and adults). Following existing schemes of work and adapting materials when needed. Managing a positive and inclusive learning environment. Ensuring learners remain on task and supported during staff absence. Maintaining high standards of teaching and safeguarding. What We're Looking For A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, QTS, QTLS, or working toward QTLS). A strong subject knowledge in Maths (GCSE and/or Functional Skills). Experience teaching in Further Education, Secondary, or post‑16 settings. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Flexibility, reliability, and a learner‑focused approach.
